These are just ten that are particular favorites. They are numbered,
but the order isn't all that important.

1. Bride of Frankenstein (1935)

3. The Fly (1958)
4. It Conquered the World(1956)
5. Alien (1979)
6. The Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954)
7. The Brain that Wouldn't Die (1962)
8. An American Werewolf in London (1981)
9. Inocent Blood (1992)

In no particular order:

01. Fiend Without a Face
02. The Mummy's Hand
03. House of Frankenstein
04. Monster that Challenged the World (medium, not giant-sized!)
05. The Devil Bat (Bela Lugosi cheese)
06. The Flying Serpent (George Zucco cheese)
07. Gargoyles
08. The Thing From Another World
09. The Night Stalker (1st Kolchak movie)
10. The Monster of Piedras Blancas

Anyone know if that last one is set for DVD release? I seem to
remember a licensing problem, as the VHS version is scarce.

This brings up something. Medium sized monsters, let's say defined as
smaller than an elephant-bigger than a man. I think that might include
things like The Monster from Green Hell, Them, Mighty Joe Young, Lake
Placid, Jaws etc.
Any thoughts?

I guess it would depend on a person's own perpective what the would
consider "giant".
