Jerry Bruckheimer
Joel Silver...

Oh, wait, you said greatest, not worst..

William Castle
Roger Corman
Sam Katzman
Albert Zugsmith...

Oh, wait, you said greatest not schlockiest.

Okay, for real now:

Hal Wallis (CASABLANCA)
David O. Selznick (NOTORIOUS)
Darryl F. Zanuck (THE LONGEST DAY)
Merian C. Cooper (KING KONG)
Henry Blanke (THE MALTESE FALCON)
Jerry Wald (PEYTON PLACE)
Nunnally Johnson (THE GRAPES OF WRATH)
William Alland (THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING MAN)
Ross Hunter (IMITATION OF LIFE)
Aaron Rosenberg (BEND OF THE RIVER)

Okay, that's 10. Some of them are a bit of a stretch (Ross Hunter),
but those are the first ten prominent Hollywood producers that I could
think of whose work I admire.
