I am building a powering system for a buddy with 195 receivers...I don't
have any and need to know what the power in plug is??? I don't think it is
the screw on as in my 200's, but what is the plug inside and outside
diameter??? I went to the PDF manual and don't see it.
Any help would be appreciated as I need to get this project off the bench
and get onto other things...

Hi Cleve,
Switchcraft 760 series, ID-.080" or 2mm, OD-0.218" or 5.5mm. Sorry
about not including it in the manual. Will see if we can do this in
the future.

Always use right angle plugs ,its much better than regular, you may use 25
cents made in china ,just put a hot glue inside and it will live for ever
the other solution is to use computer style plugs with removable heads (
usually its coming with 5 different size heads),it is coming already
attached to the cable

Hi Marty,
There are at least three versions of power plugs with ids of 0.1"
(2.5mm), 0.080" (2mm), and 0.050" (1.2mm). We use the 2mm for DC
supplies.
Best Regards

Which by most EU and Asian sources is referred to as a 2,1mm plug. >> Stay informed about: 12VDC power in for 195??? |

Hi Kurt,
And to make things more difficult, the Switchcraft which we started
out using and still use in some products really is 2mm (0.80") and the
rest of the world, as you point out, is 2.1mm. This leads to slight
misfits. And then when Switchcraft came out with a locking version,
well after it was established as a metric based thread, they made it
in inch standard threadsonly. So the locking Switchcraft, which is a
well made plug, won't screw on to the majority of jacks which are
metric. Talk about having your head up and locked. (One of my pet
peeves)
Best Regards,
Larry F
