Post subject: 16mm to 8mm film perforations
Archived from groups: alt>movies>cinematography>super8 (more info?)

Hy everybody here!

I`m new to this group and don`t now if this subject has been discussed
before here. Is about a technical project of mine, to construct a
device that can perforate 16mm film and transform it in double 8mm, as
16mm film has the same dimensions, just that the double 8mm film has
twice as many perforations, exact in the middle between the 16mm ones.
I have an 8mm camera that I`d like to use, but nobody produces the film
for it anymore. I browsed the internet and all I found is old expired
film. There is a place where this problem was discussed before, (don`t
know when, is not on a forum, just an archive of a forum), but with no
result.
If is there anybody intrested in this subject, has any ideas, want to
participate in this project, know more about it, please post your
answers here.

Thanks,
Dragos.
