Archived from groups: alt>movies>silent (more info?)

I received this email today...

Hi my Great Grandfather was in the silent pictures in 1917 or so. I
have a list of movies he did bit parts in is it possible to get
any of
these movies at all?

"The Wild Girl" Eva Tanguay
"The Public Bedamned" Mary Fuller
"The Lone Wolf" Hazel Dorn
"Polly of the Circus"
"the little Samaritan" Marian Swayne
"The fringe of society"

I would appreciate a answer to my problem and if and where are
these
movies purchasable.

Thanks awaiting to hear from you

His name was William G. Lovatt
thanks I hope that you can help

I know that POLLY OF THE CIRCUS (1917) survives, but I don't think
that it is available on video. The other films and production
companies are:
THE WILD GIRL (1917) Selznick/Select
PUBLIC BE DAMNED (1917) Select
THE LONE WOLF (1917) Brenon/Select
LITTLE SAMARITAN (1917) Art Drama
FRINGE OF SOCIETY (1917) Baker/Hoffman
