1912: AL OVERTON, sound recordist for "Earth vs. the Spider", is born.

1927: KO MISHIMA is born. He played Kishi the gangster in "The H-Man",
Detective Fujita in "The Human Vapor", and the JSDF naval officer who
delivered the order that the ship could't dock in "King Kong vs.
Godzilla", and appeared in "Gorath", "Kamen Rider", "Kikaida" (as Aono
the dam engineer in the first episode), "Kamen Rider V3", "Inazuman",
and "Kamen Rider X".

1941: FRED BEHRLE, who played a member of the ship's crew in the
original "King Kong", dies from a heart attack in the San Fernando
Valley, Calif.

1948: TESSHO GENDA, the narrator on "Magiranger", is born in Okayama,
Japan.

1961: YUJI HAYASHIDA, production designer and/or art director on
"Alive", "Azumi" and "Casshern", is born in Hyogo, Japan.

1963: RUSSELL A. GAUSMAN, set decorator on "Tarantula" and "The Deadly
Mantis", dies at 70 in Woodland Hills, Calif.

1964: "The Human Vapor" is released in the U.S.

1972: Episode 60 of "Kamen Rider", "Mysterious Owl-Man's Murderous X-
Rays", debuts on Japanese TV.

1980: YOSHIHIRO MASUJIMA, who played Naoki Domon a.k.a. Blue Racer on
"High-Speed Task Force Carranger, "High Speed Task Force Carranger vs.
Ohranger", and "Electromagnetic Task Force Megaranger vs. Carranger",
is born.

1989: Episode 13 of "High Speed Task Force Turboranger" debuts on
Japanese TV.

1998: "Godzilla" is released in Canada.

2001: SETH PETERSON, who played an Apache pilot in "Godzilla",
marries Kylee Cochran.

2003: "Gammera the Invincible" is released in the U.S. on DVD
