300 - liked it

I was surprised but I liked 300. I was afraid it would look like Sin
City which was also based on a Frank Miller book. But 300 had normal
color etc even though it had weird slow motion and loud guitars. The
story held together and was aided by the narration by Dave Wenham (who
played Faramir in Lord of the Rings).

Did they use CG for the guy's muscles sometimes? They may have, for
David Wenham near the end.
