Ok, John time to chime in!

Does the TA3 output copy the level that is set for the XLR's? I thought it
stayed line level despite kicking in attenuation for the main outputs?

I am considering one, now that the M3 proved not to be up to snuff!!!

thanks...cleve

Cleve,
Just did a quick test on my 302. Attenuating the XLR's has no effect
on the TA3 Tape/Mix out. Sorry if my earlier note on the 442 gave you
that impression.

I second M2. Tape/Mix Out is always a -10 level.
