I'm a PhD student in media studies contemplating a dissertation
chapter on 3D movies. Holding me back, however, is the seeming
difficulty in accessing prints of classic 3D films (which I'm much
more interested in than, say, Spy Kids 3D). Stuff like Creature From
the Black Lagoon, Dial M for Murder, and House of Wax do not appear
readily available in their 3D formats.
Does anyone know of an archive, museum, or other accessible collection
of 3D films that I could access? I'm happy to travel to spend a few
days looking at them - I just want leads on where I should be looking.
Thanks in advance for any help people can provide.
Best,
Phil Sandifer

You are standing in an open field west of a white house, with a
boarded front door. There is a small mailbox here.

Depending on the format you want, I know Creature and House of Wax are
available on eBay.
