Archived from groups: rec>arts>movies>production>sound (more info?)

ok , started to play with 788( 1.07) and found I cant mix few inputs to
mono signal to send it out as 1 signal
the only solution is to mix track which need to be arm and recorded , is
there any other way to do it without recording the mix and not loosing
memory for nothing !!!!
also is there any way to see levels on each input without arm tracks and
record it ?
any way to stay in calibration window for each input without hold the
momentary switch
and the red light during recording , any one know how to disconnect it ?
by the way , the preamps sound excellent , running my Gefell directly
