| I'm about to purchase the 90th Anniversary Mutual DVDs. I have the
previous Image DVD releases and will probably be selling them, unless anyone
can point out some features of the previous set that are missing in the new
set. Scenes, music or whatever.

All new and different scores. The 90th Anniversary set is with Carl
Davis scores, the previous Image uses Michael Mortilla scores from 1989
reworked and rerecorded for the 1995 set. >> Stay informed about: 90th Anniversary Mutuals vs. 1995 Mutuals |

I'm definitely getting the new set. I actually just bought it on-line
yesterday for $34.50 from DVD Planet's eBay store "digitaleyesdotnet." What
I want to know is, is there any reason to keep the older set?

Maybe you can answer this question by listening to the music on both sets
and deciding if any of the Mortialla music appeals to you.
I've never liked the electronic sound of the music on the earlier sets, even
after it was supposedly improved, but some of Mortilla's musical ideas are
actually quite good. If he had the sound to match, his scores would probably
be more widely appreciated.

I like his musical arrangements of the end of EASY STREET, it's really
beautiful. I would say thats the only thing that was better than the
Carl Davis edition. >> Stay informed about: 90th Anniversary Mutuals vs. 1995 Mutuals |
