I liked it. Of course, I am a huge Johnny Depp fan and would like a movie of
him eating breakfast. So take that into consideration.

But I liked it. I liked the plot and the twists and turns in it.

At first, it is disapointing, but with repeated viewings in draws you
in and it gets better and better with multiple viewings. You start to
notice little details and it draws you in.

In an offbeat Roland Polanski kind of way it is quite good, though from an
American horror perspective it probably is too tame and confusing for
most....It has almost an End of Days quality to it, though more cerebral
than action-oriented. It also has a really dry sense of humor that many
might miss.

Ther is an interesting analysis of the film in the book Fear Without
Frontiers, about world horror cinema.

Not a problem. I've seen it 3 times. I'm a Johnny fan, so of course I
watched it. Then I had to watch it a couple more times cause I found it
interesting.
