Absolute Pleasure T-shirts site gone?

Hi there everyone,
I was wondering what happened to the
Absolute Pleasure T-shirts site? I tried to go to it the other day and
it was totally gone. I've had problems in the past getting some of the
design images to view, but now no site at all. Bev?

Yeah, I too am having problems, and this is Bev!!!
Back in January, the site went down due to Gene not having paid the
server, but that was taken care of, only to have new problems. Id
changed my email and Gene never patched orders through to my new
email. Then he informed me that as he was switching servers, his hard
drive went out. That took everything offline. Since then Ive not heard
a word from him. Im pretty sure he has a new hard drive, since hed
told me he was getting one, but that was June.
As it happens, right now I couldnt fill orders if I wanted to. In July
I was told my house was finally selling and was asked to vacate
pending closing. This closing has been delayed more times than I can
count and Im currently staying with a friend in his tiny apartment.
All my things are in storage, including my heat press. Add to that I
was out of work and unable to afford a place of my own. I got a job,
but the day after Id arranged an apartment (last Saturday) I was laid
off due to the place going out of business!! I have a part time job,
but its not enough to guarantee being able to pay rent, so Im madly
job hunting since if I dont get out of my friends place, we will
likely kill each other.
I did tell Gene all this in an email Im not sure he ever got, and
requested he not put the site back up till I give him the word Im
ready to do business again so maybe thats what hes going on.
Besides, Im thinking of doing shirts in a new way. Rather than the
heat press decal thing, I want to use the new direct to garment
printing process, but current technology isnt enabling printing on
black shirts as yet. I have a lead on a local place that can do them
on black, but since its iffy, and their image requirements make no
sense, Im waiting till I learn more about them. Thing is, it means I
have to job out the printing process and that will necessitate raising
prices to cover the jobber. Im using this downtime to learn all I can
about it and figure out how much Id have to raise prices, but the end
result will be a more durable shirt, and thats what I want. I can have
shirts made using that process now, but only on light colors. And it
only ups prices by a couple bucks.

Im kind of wanting to make all new designs anyway since some of the
RHPS stuff is getting pretty stale, but lately Ive concentrated on
Jack Sparrow since hes what sells!!
