Angry Red Planet (1960s)

Hi

I remember seeing a film called "The Angry Red Planet" (I think,),
when I was a kid in the early sixties. I have never been able to trace
this film, maybe I have remembered the name wrongly.

The plot consisted of a rocket mission to Mars, the ship lands on Mars
and is surrounded by a Jelly creature who tries to digest the ship.

Any ideas.

The director Ib Melchior also made the very interesting time travel movie
The Time Travellers. He also helped write the scripts for other movies like
Mario Bava's Planet of the Vampires (1965) and Death Race 2000 (1975).
