I read in Thomas Friedman's book 'The World is Flat," pg 186, that
Chaplin's image was sold to an Indian videogame software development
company. Can anyone verify this?

If the book's as fact-based as Friedman's other work there isn't the
slightest
possibility that Chaplin's image was sold to an Indian softwre
development company.

However fact-based Friedman's work may (or may not) be, there is a
lot of interest in Chaplin in India.

Actually, that was my take on the book as well. I read it on
recommendation of a friend, but I'll never get those wasted hours
back. That's why I'm looking for confirmation here on that Chaplin
point.
