Bad Feeling about Silver Surfer - From the trailers, he looks bizarre and inhuman, and might inspire revulsion in people. He may not inspire the intrigue and awe, that his psychedelic imagery did in the 60's.
Pan's Labyrinth - I thought it was a thought-provoking film, however the obvious leftist bent irritated me.
Mr. Brooks was very entertaining - A well-done movie. Not a thriller, not a regular serial killer movie, the dialog and pacing made it near-perfect. Costner's best part in some time. If the killings had been more flambouyant, Costner could have gotten a sequel out of it. |
