Well, at least the people at CBS did.
I thought the piece was tasteful and well put together, including the
choice and editing of the clips. They avoided the rather sleazy tone
that the A&E biography lapsed into at times, and touched on all the
most essential points, given the time limit.
I wasn't overwhelmed by the visual quality of the Warners' clips.
Maybe it
was the reception, but my Region 2 DVDs look a lot better.
Interestingly enough, for _The Gold Rush_ they used clips from the
reconstruction of '25.
