My Character Makes The Best Cast Leader Because...

I agree, I dont think the character one performs as really has any
hard impact on leadership abilities.

However, I have made the observation from an outsiders point of
view, certain performers are almost expected to " be in charge". Its
been my experience that most of the time, virgins or newbies will see
the guy or girl playing Frank and assume he or she is the cast leader,
based on the Franks dominant personality, I would assume.

intended to be a serious debate on whether any character can do a

Hey guys,

I'm a RiffRaff and a cast director. Our last RiffRaff was also our
last cast director.
down in my Charleston show, our two cast directors are RiffRaff and
DrScott/Eddie.

I agree with the statement above that the audience may see Frank as
the leader. That certainly has happened alot in my expeience.
Especially with F5 when we had Jon Tyndall still with us. He is a
very dominant presence and spent alot of time with the audience. Same
thing happens to me in Charleston where I play Frank - the audience
comes to me with show comments, asking to join and such.
