Post subject: Cheap Unit to Transfer 8mm Film to Computer
Archived from groups: alt>movies>cinematography>super8 (more info?)

I'm looking for a method to transfer 8mm film to DVD and been reading

slide/scanner technology so cheap, doesn't anybody make a cheap unit
that will pull the film through, and encode each frame at "any" pace
without having to worry about synching cameras and projectors?
