Hello,

I am considering building a home cinema PC this is to replace a Tivo.
Features I require are

i) Ability to pause live TV
ii) Use as VCR replacement
iii) Archive CD collection as MP3

Does any software exist to do this including stuff like season passes etc.
I am not bothered about it learning my viewing habits and things, but would
like it to be a bit more functional than my unsubscribed Tivo. Can you
download a TV guide from anywhere for record scheduling ? Does anyone know
how to make a PC change the channel on a sky box, are remote blasters
available ?

Thanks in advance for any help

Ben

Thanks for the leads

Do you know if either snapstream or showshifter support multiple tuners,
I would like to be able to watch one channel and pause rewind etc
whilst recording another. I am aware this can't be to sky channels
unless I had two STBs

thanks
