It is getting harder and harder for me to tell the difference (if any)
between a (Hollywood) Cliché and/or a stereotype.
Has Hollywood finally run out of original ideas ?

Red, White and Blue, what does it mean to you ?
Surely you are proud to shout it out loud ?

Hollywood has never had many original ideas. It did have a few
original directors, and they fought like hell to get their visions
made into films, but they were opposed at every turn by the studio
heads. Orsen Wells was probably the most original and creative
person in Hollywood. He ended up doing wine commercials on
television and being the voice of Orson on "Mork and Mindy."

Or the American Flag, the Dutch Flag, the Russian Flag, or the French Flag.
To name but *4* red, white and blue flags.

Next you'll be telling me he was selling cheap American wine
instead of the finest vintages from Bordeaux.

Now we have Remakes, Rehash, Revamp, or Recycle.
Does Hollywood have any original ideas left at all ?

I don't know that Hollywood ever had an original idea. Almost all
the scripts were based on books, stories or plays, or were written
by established playwrights and novelists. Absolutely original
movies are rare.

I've written a book that I feel has a message with a Norma Rae feel to it,
but I don't know who to send it to as far as adaptaion goes...nope, it's not
published, just sitting here in my computer...with five more.

Cheers!
