Could watch it in conjunction with Meryl Streep and The Hours for a
double-featured suicide.

Son's mother commits suicide by parking her car on a train track. Son
feels terrible knowing that he was the only one who could have stopped
her - but didn't. Engineer who was driving the train suffers from
terrible depression after the accident and struggles to hold onto his
relationship with wife.

It's a documentary by the Permanent Way Institute. Clint ponders the
relative merits of bullhead and flatbottomed rail, and the highlight
of the film is when he discards spikes for pandrol clips.......

Clint Eastwood WWII films release dates - Some places say the two films will be released Aug/Dec of this year. But Wikipedia said they are being released simultaneously, which I doubt. It wouldn't seem like a good idea. People would rather not see two linked films so close if they cost $9. ..

Eastwood's 2006 Iwo film - I hope it will be distinctive or different in some way, like Thin Red Line. I noticed in IMDB.com there are no Asian actors listed. I had thought Eastwood was doing research into the Japanese military. Or it may be Hollywood pap like.... I don't know.
