Post subject: Comedian Christopher Cannon is soliciting for classic American home movie film treasures
Archived from groups: alt>movies>cinematography (more info?)

Film buff and professional Comedian Christopher Cannon is in
pre-production for his latest live, touring, one-man show entitled 8mm:
A Reel Story. A celebration of the cultural phenomenon of home movies,
8mm: A Reel Story sets out to examine what Americana looked like
through the camera lens and what it means to be human in our
ever-changing Technicolor society.

8mm: A Reel Story is a brilliant juxtaposition of film, comedic
monologue, and indie music; as Cannon, best known for his hilarious
insights into pop culture, focuses on exploring the epiphanous ability
of film to illuminate the cultural fabric of our lives in 20th Century
America.

We are now accepting submissions of only digitized 8mm/Super 8 home
movies for use in this ground-breaking new project. All varieties of
home movie clips will be considered, including family life, vacations,
weddings, and babies.

If interested, please send e-mail to cannon.DeleteThis@georgeproductions.com for
link to demo clips.
