this has been covered before, but the gist of it was basically that there is
no evidence that there is anyone required ..
There is in every instance we see, but this may well be simply for safety
and ease of operation, or speed of operation ..
perhaps the strapping down is simply to control reactions to violent
situations .. Since he was going into a known meeting, he probably didnt
need to strap himself in too well.. and could easily have hacked up a
program to be his operator ..
on incoming call, remove person from the matrix .. or perhaps even an
automated exist system ..
