right, be it MP3 or cd format, i am looking for EVERYTHING
Dawn of the Dead soundtrackwise.
Now i know it is probably a bit of an impossible task seeing as
there's like 10 squillion different edits of this movie, but i would
love to find all i can.
i know of course there are several Goblin pieces, some of which are
not on the official soundtrack album or are different mixes from the
official soundtrack.
may be wrong, but possibly Dario Argento Re-scored it for Italian
release, maybe with members of The Goblin.
Can't remember who wrote the song that plays in the hillbilly/army
hunt. " i'm the man " or something like that. I had it on MP3 before
but have since unfortunately lost it.
The hardest stuff that i have ever looked for and only found in a
format that is taken Straight from the soundtrack ( With dialogue and
all ! ) is the muzak pieces from within the mall. Not sure if there is
any more library music in other scenes. Perhaps at the very beginning
at the rooftop shootout and maybe at the airport.
I read it's from a catalogue of library music from a company in
America called DE WOLFE. I don't know how to find out about getting
hold of these, and they are usually titled without any indication as
to what they are, so finding them would be hard enough even with the
entire CD collection from DE WOLFE. Seeing as they were never written
with DAWN OF THE DEAD in mind at the time, i can't think of anyone who
would have a clue as to finding these pieces.
If anyone out there can shed some light onto aquiring this WHOLE
collection of Dawn's Soundtrack, Please get in touch as i'd love to
think it'd be possible, as seemingly sadcase as it is :)
