Four of the stars of the original make cameos in the new version (Ken
Foree, Scott Reiniger, Tom Savini, & Gaylen Ross [the latter in name
only]). David Emge is nowhere to be found. Anyone know why? Am I missing
something? Is he dead... turned into a conservative old fart... what?

He's very much alive and he does make appearances at the horror cons. From what
I heard he's a great guy and is still into horror today.

Cheers, that's good to know.

But the original question still stands... why wasn't he in the remake?
Even if he wasn't available due to scheduling, couldn't they have made
some covert reference a'la the Gaylen Ross cameo? Or did they, and I'm
too retarded to see it?

Maybe he just didn't have the time to be in the remake or maybe he didn't want
to.

Hell, for the longest time, I thought the gun store guy Andy was David Emge.
Considering you primarily see him at a distance, he does have a resemblance to
the guy.

Question about DOTD 2004 - Does anyone know Dawn Of The Dead 2004 will be released on DVD, and what special features it will have? Thanks in advance.

DOTD: Two Times, Baby! - I saw Dawn for the second time yesterday. It holds up. In fact, I think I liked it better the second time around! I only wish they had shown more of the rest of the world, or had some exposition for the zombies, but that's just not what the movie was..

Left before DOTD credits, spoil me please. - Ok, I left right as the credits started to roll. Can anyone tell me exactly what happened? I mean plot specific what happened, not the boobies or whatever. Thankee Sai.

Your best word choices for describing DOTD's characters ? - EXCLUDING the word ZOMBIE - or any variation of it, or addition to it (that can't be used), what are your three most creatively witty choice of words to describe the characters in general, in the Dawn of the Dead film (2004 remake or the original) ?

Anyone notice this original DOTD/Monty Python reference? - Watch the original Dawn of the Dead, listen closely to the music that plays as the raiders start their attack, and Peter and Steven are bringing down the store gates. I swear to God its the same music that plays at the beginning of Monty Python and the....
