Post subject: Denon AVR3803 questions...
Archived from groups: uk>media>home-cinema (more info?)

Firstly, I recall reading somewhere that it is possible to modify this unit
to change the Component In/Outs to RGB+S... any ideas?

Secondly, I have three surround speakers connected... Left, Right, and rear
Center.... Obiviously, when playing Dolby digital and DTS sources, it
switches the rear center into matrix or discreet mode automatically, but
when playing normal Pro Logic II material, the rear conter is automatically
switched off, unless I press the "Surround Back" button until the rear one
switches on and gives the same sound as the Left and right rear....

How do i get it so it automatically defaults to Discreet or Matrix for
Digital sources, then ON for PL II stuff without pressing the Surround Back
button each time?
