| I know it's probably Passe, but I really like Plan 9 from Outer Space as a
cult movie and Mr. Woods other stuff.
Other than Ed Wood's other movies, any suggestions on films that come close
to the cheesy,
quirky plots and dialog? Suggestions appeciated.

I like them too and haven't seen anything quite like Ed Wood movies.
Others have tried to "pretend" to be like Ed Wood but he was truly
sincere which gave his movies the quality they possess.
Once in a while IFC shows movies that are just as entertaining. >> Stay informed about: Any other Ed Wood Directors? |

Glen or Glenda-- a classic. Also, Orgy of the Dead, the only movie I've
seen with actual production values. What it has in production values,
however, it lacks in plot. The premise is that a couple crash in their
car, and are captured by the undead, who force them to watch over an
hour of various "dead" strippers, who have various costumes.

Anything by Fred Olen Ray, especially "Evil Toons" (bad bad bad take on
Roger Rabbit)
"Coven", which is on the dvd "american movie" about a filmaker with passion,
but without talent.
"Thou Shall Not Kill, Except"- unintentionally funny movie about war buddies
tracking down an evil cult leader (played by Sam Raimi).

Hey, Plan 9 is a good movie. And it's no where near as bad as people make
it out to be. Compared to some stuff that came out in the same era it's a
master piece. >> Stay informed about: Any other Ed Wood Directors? |
