A blatant lie. Kodak has introduced several new Ektachrome 35mm stocks in
the last few years, all of which are E-6 processed. These would meet the
environmental standards and could be manufactured very easily. It's obvious
that Kodak is re-evaluating the total demand for Super-8 film, and hasn't
yet committed to keeping Super-8 in production.

Kodachrome is just about dead. With worldwide demand only enough to keep
three plants busy, I'd be very surprised if you see Kodachrome around in
five more years. Buy some Kodachrome now if you wish to continue using it!
