Archived from groups: alt>movies>silent (more info?)

Excerpt from a Cox News Service report on the Television Critics
Association summer press tour, continuing through July 25:

"... Embarrassing question of the day: During the Turner Broadcasting
session, a journalist asked CEO Phil Kent why Turner Classic Movies
had canceled its planned Charlie Chan film festival because of issues
of cultural insensitivity. Oops. That wasn't TCM. It was Fox Movie
Channel. ..."

Wonder how CEO Kent responded.

And now back to Bruce Calvert for the rest of the day's news.
