I saw it last nite at my freinds house and it realy scared me, i
wouldent go home after cos the thing about 3 in the morning scared me,
[about demons appearing then] i was too nervous and had to stay at my
freinds for the nite. I spose that means that it must be a gpod horror
movie, but i dont realy like them to be too frightning, it was based on
a true story too, which is wot made it realy scarey, it makes you
wonder how much they exsagerrated for the movie tho.

The real-life event was a vicious, protracted murder of a
mentally disturbed Bavarian woman by a grotesque gaggle
of religious fanatics, including her own parents. Denied
any medical care, she was, at her death, morbidly
emaciated, wounded, both her knees broken as a
consequence of the hundreds of daily genuflections her
tormentors had her perform, she'd been stricken with
pneumonia, and, in the end, she'd died of starvation.
Literally starved to death.
The film, transfering the action to the U.S., inexcusably
offers the killers' point of view as a reliable recounting of
events, presenting the victim as genuinely possessed by
demonic forces, and the killers as her benevolent overseers,
as she bravely accepts her fate in the name of the larger
good. Poisonous rubbish. >> Stay informed about: The Exsorcisim of Emily Rose. |

Not a very good one, but it has some basic info. There's
another one here:
http://www.moviesonline.ca/movienews_1253.html
The major book about the case ("The Exorcism of
Anneliese Michel") has a great deal of information, but
it's written by a woman who seems to be as much of a
crackpot (though in a different way) as those who
murdered Anneliese Michel (The woman in EMILY ROSE
who offers the New Agey-style testimony on rituals seems
to be based on the author). >> Stay informed about: The Exsorcisim of Emily Rose. |

I dident realy like it v much, cos i found it too frightning. but some
ppl would think that it was good because of that. Hav u seen Amercian
Huanting, i wanted to see it but im wondering it its going to be the
same sort of thing, cos that is ment to be a true story too.
