Hi Guys,

I've been thinking about doing a book full of Rocky
Horror/Shock Treatment artwork. I think it would be a nice book for all
the dedicated fans out there. I have already had a few drawings sent to
me, I know I have pissed alot of people off but I would like to prove
them wrong buy producing a wonderful and professional book. If I did go
ahead and do this project would anybody be willing to support me and
send me contributions etc.??

Thanks
Adam

In a word... no. I fortunately didn't experience most of what happened
firsthand at the time, but from what I've seen since... well I just
can't think of a less trustworthy name than Adam Clarke when it comes to
anything Rocky Horror related. The reason I mentioned the fact that you
would only accept cash from the US for your eBay listings was because I
would feel uncomfortable buying something from you unless it was on a
credit card through PayPal where I know I could do a chargeback if it
became necessary.

I'm reminded of something I just saw regarding Madonna, of all people.
Apparently in a recent interview she vowed never to star in another
movie, because she fears her terrible acting reputation will condemn any
film. "What film can survive people saying it's going to be a bomb from
the second it's announced? Making movies is such an effort. And to do
that over and over again, with the possibility that I am going to get
the (bleep) kicked out of me - and they really enjoy doing it - I mean,
it doesn't make sense. I have sort of let it go."

I'd suggest that having the name of Adam Clarke attached to any sort of
Rocky Horror related project will fare similarly.

But you are selling the book, right? You are not just giving it away.

If you are giving it away, that would be a more interesting idea. In
which case, how are you going to fund it?

Ahhhh yeah, that's right. But, as I recall, that was supposed to be
an entire CD that he was going to sell, and distribute at the Vegas con
last year. As I remember too, that was the first time I also declared
that if he followed through on it that I'd eat the CD. I don't really
consider this "following through" anyway. I can sing along to the
karaoke CD and post the files on my web site tonight - that's not an
effort, that's recorded karaoke.

As we all know, I have yet to eat an Adam Clark CD - does anyone even
own one of these?
