I was at the Coffey site looking at the Metacorder software. It lists
several Core Audio input devices you can plug into your favorite
Macintosh, essentially converting Analog audio to USB or Firewire for
the computer/software.

Is there a black box that can accept AES inputs and output what the
Computer / Metacorder wants? This would be a great backup, or in case
the Deva dies.

Please and Thank You,

I think MOTU might have something.

I've been pressing RME to do a digital version of their Fireface 800 but they are keeping lips zipped on what their plans are.

Lynx is promising a 1394 card for their new 16-channel converter set but that's mid-2005 or so.
