SF360 Film+Club returns to Mezzanine on Tuesday, July 31, featuring
the latest from our friends at Wholphin. The San Francisco-based dvd
magazine is set to release its fourth installment, and we're
showcasing shorts from it, including Taika Waititi's (director of
Eagle vs. Shark) Two Cars, One Night, at this monthly screenings
series. After the screening, stick around for displays involving
headless flies, strange creatures from the deep, disturbing bacteria,
and alcoholic bees, as well as a contest for your very own blofish.
What does it all mean? There's only one way to find out.

Doors at 7 pm, program starts at 7:30 pm (running time: 90 min).
Tickets to the film are $8, but you can email info DeleteThis @sf360.org for $5
tickets, although seating is still first come first serve. DAMRAK Gin
will pouring free gin drinks for the first hour, so have a DAM drink
on us.

The rest of the program will include Andrew Zuckerman and Alex Vlack's
High Falls starring Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard; Chris
Waitt's Heavy Metal Jr., a doc following a band of Scottish 9-year-
olds as they practice the song 'Satan Rocks'; an excerpt from Lynn
Hershman Leeson's genre-bending doc Strange Culture; Olivo Barbieri's
mind-blowing aerial video Site Specific_ Las Vegas 05; and, of course,
more.

SF360 Film+Club is presented by the San Francisco Film Society,
Mezzanine and Rehab. This event is sponsored by SFWeekly, 7x7 and
DAMRAK. SF360 Film+Club is a monthly series taking movies out of the
theater and putting them in the club, and past events have featured
INFAMY, TRAPPED IN THE CLOSET SING A-LONG, NEXT: A Primer on Urban
Painting, MACBETH and COLMA: The Musical.
