I never saw Super Troopers, but caught Club Dread, and thought it had
some very funny parts (the real life pacman course for example). I'd
been meaning to give Beerfest a try despite the generally poor reviews
and boxoffice. I finally got around to it tonight and it was about
what I expected: a funny verging towards silly comedy that didn't overstay
its welcome, and had enough eye candy to be diverting. I hope the boxoffice
doesn't torpedo future Broken Lizard projects, though the budget can't
have been anything compared to standard summer fare.

Beefest was amusing, if you like these guys, which I do. You really
should see Super Troopers, it is by far their best movie (with Club
Dread a close 2nd).

finally an interesting subject for a bio-pic - There's a new Bettie Page bio-pic coming out. I hope they get it at least half correct and don't portray her as a victim.

Finally, some good films - Fall season begins with : Hollywoodland about George Reeves career and mysterious death, and Superman, cult of celebrity, etc... The Last Kiss : has Zach Braff (Garden State) and written by Paul Haggis (Million Dollar Baby, Crash), seems promising..

Finally .. for the best cleavage .. walking down the red c.. - _____________________________________-- place your bets...

So we FINALLY get an Arab villain out of Hollywood - Of course, he's in a comedy, and all he really wants to do is compete in an American Idol type of show, not blow people up. COWARDS!

Brosnan & Matador LMAO ..can we FINALLY not ever be subjec.. - this FORMER STAR ( clearing throat ) ever again ? We thank you.. Wow ... Matador went away fassssssssssssssst !!!! And all the better for the world. OLE !
