We have been flooded with requests on how to submit a project to
Ovation, so we have created an online form. In order for us to consider
your project, it must meet the following criteria:
1. The screenplay must be written in the English language;
2. The screenplay must be written in so-called "industry standard"
screenplay format and be no less than eighty (80) pages and no more
than one hundred forty (140) pages in length;
3. The screenplay must be previously unpublished, work and must be
previously unproduced as a film, movie of the week, mini-series, or
otherwise produced for home video, television, paid stage production or
similar medium (please note that a screenplay which is an adaptation
from source material or is based on other works will not be accepted);
4. The screenplay must be registered with, or, on the date the
screenplay is submitted to Ovation, in the process of being registered
with, the United States Copyright Office or the Writer's Guild of
America;
5. The screenplay must be written for a live action feature film:
6. The screenplay must be submitted only in digital form formatted in
Final Draft, Microsoft Word, PDF or HTML and only through this form (do
not send hard copies via mail, fax, or any other means-they will not be
accepted, and there will be NO EXCEPTIONS!).Files must not exceed
2.0MB;
You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of submission. If
we are interested in your project, we will contact you. Contacting us
will not improve your chances.
