Can anyone tell me what the classical song is that plays at the end of the
film when the credits roll over Laura's still face?

Thanks!

I think it's Rachmaninov Vespers by the Corydon Singers with Mathew Best
conducting, excellent floaty cloud heaven music...

It's called The Voice of Love and (along with most of the music written
for the film) it's by Angelo Badalamenti. Beautiful piece of music from a
great soundtrack album.

That's the music over the scene in the train carriage which
is towards the end but not the scene being asked about. The
music over the end credits is Angelo Badalamenti's Voice of Love.

Sorry PJ mate. You and Pikemann are both personal friends of mine, but
Pikemann's right - it's Requiem.

Ok, this is simple. Listen to the last track of the FWWM soudntrack
CD then run the credits of the DVD (or VHS or whatnot). They are the same
track. The Cherubini Requiem excerpt is played over the rail carriage
scene and features a huge chorus. The Voice of Love instrumental
played over the end credits (which the original poster was asking
about) is a slow piece played on synthesised strings.

If I am mistaken I'll bow to your memory in a New York minute. I'll check
my dvd copy tonight.

Ahhh, the instrumental version! Sorry. I put on the dvd and noticed that the
end credits didn't have Julee Cruise vocals, so i assumed it was the other
song...

Ok, you get your bow. My assumption was that the music of the last scene in
the Red Room (that a fair few people I know have mistaken for a classical piece)
continued on through the credits.

(PJ bows)

Better recollection than mine.
