Just watched this DVD and can highly recommend it. Among others, Geraldine,
Michael and Eugene Chaplin, Petula Clark and CC's neighbors are interviewed
to good effect. Geraldine is completely charming and engaging while Michael
now looks like Omar Shariff. Eugene, who is not an attractive man, is
cruelly framed at the bottom half of the screen as if to exaggerate his
toadlike appearance. The extras are extended interviews with CC's children.
Most affecting moment is when Geraldine says, "Don't come back Daddy. It's
a bad world and you wouldn't like it here. But leave us the Little Tramp."

Trust me, it works in context.

I love Geraldine's constant use of her favourite word... "Disgusting!"

Charlie Chaplin comes into your bed ! - Your are asleep, alone, nude. Suddenly and without warning, Charlie Chaplin comes into your bed ! What do you do?

Charlie Chaplin, Jr. - I'm interesting in Charlie Jr.'s relationship with his father after CC moved to Vevey. According to the younger Chaplin, he visited his father in 1954 but does not mention any subsequent visits (the book was written in 1960). Charlie Jr. dies in 1968..

Art of Charlie Chaplin - Has anybody read the book The Art of Charlie Chaplin by John Kimber? Is it any good?
