Anyone have any on-set experience using this machine? I am considering this
as a cart-based NL production recorder. Any thoughts?

Regards,

D.

I know someone over on the Metacorder list was working with an 824
on-cart as well for drama projects. Maybe check there.

Nope. Still using the ever-trusty HHb DAT. Just spent $10,000 on RF; one
expensive upgrade at a time, eh?

Doug,

I met Art Rochester last April at the RAMPS gathering. I learned that he
uses two DV-824s on his cart as well as a PD-6 to run with. I know he isn't
on this group, but maybe if you contact Rick Cannata, he could pass your
email address along to Art. I'm sure he'd be glad to talk with you about
his experiences with the machine.
