I hope someone in this group can help me. I have an 8mm Kodak Cine Showtime
Projector A-20. I'm trying to view an 8mm film from 1967 but I get a line
that divides the picture at the bottom. There's a framing adjustment, but
when I make the adjustment to a 100% screen the projector and movie shakes,
rattles and rolls. Well, it doesn't roll, but the picture certainly shakes
and rattles so bad that you can really view the movie. Is there a way to fix
this? Is it the film or the projector? I have used this projector in the
past with no problem.

Thanks and I hope all your mothers had a wonderful Mother's Day!

Bill

Adjust the control for proper framing. Stop the projector, remove and
re-thread the film.

The condition you describe happens sometime when the framing control is
grossly misadjusted when the film is threaded.

Thank you very much Norm. I'll try out your suggestion tonight.

You were right Norm. Re-threading was all it needed. Thanks again!

You're welcome. It's nice to be right about something sometimes.
