Hi all,
just reading through the spec for my Hitachi PJ-T300 Projector to see
if it gives full HD or not (1080i).

'Optical - Resolution' states: 1280 dots x 720 lines
'Video Compatibility' states: HDTV:750p(720p@50/60Hz), 1125i
(1080i@50/60Hz)

Does this mean I have full HD at 1080i or not??

you have 720p.
to display 1080i in it's full resolution you need 1900x1080
your projector will display it, just not to it's full potential.

It will take 1080i, de-interlace it then downscale it to 720p so you're
better off feeding it with 720p in the first place imho - just one scaling
operation that way. My TX200 looks much better fed with 720p than 1080i.

720p IS HD spec (but not of course as HD as 1080p PJs which are much more
expensive atm but you'll not notice the difference unless you're sitting
really close in which case the screen door effect will be evident anyway.
