Funny stuff at the show

Ok, so, I know someone will have a much better story than this, but well, mine
just happened tonight.

We have a great print, and it's on only 2 reels. The big break is therefore in
Rocky beating on the bars right after the bloody gloves (sorry if that was
abundantly obvious, but I don't think it's the same for everyone) Any how,
we've had odd things happen before, like one night only one projector was
working, and we had a little planned intermission at a wierd time.

Tonight, however, was a first. The theater manager had his other movie still
loaded on the second reel. So at that moment, all of a sudden, it's Step into
Liquid. Someone's talking about swimming in shark infested waters. You've
never seen so many confused heads swing around to the projection booth. Our
Rocky took it in stride and of course began to circle Frank like a shark, but
the movie was stopped quickly. That's a wierd place to sit and wait. Luckily,
we have some talented cast member who entertained the crowd with stand up and
apparently the theme to Homestarrunner.

Just thought I'd share the laugh.

this is not exactly a like the great anecdote you shared, but I may as well add
this:

The Audience APs usually slow down during the Tank birthing scene, when Frank
is adding the colorful formula to the tank. So our cast members (usualy Brad
and Janet) do a little burlesque, whereby they tell four Bloody Tampon jokes
(of course in honor of "Look, the world's largest tampon!!")

They go like this:

A thousand and one tampons walk into a bar. The bartender says, "We can't
serve a thousand and one tampons"
The bloody tampons ask, "Hey, why not?" The bartender says "Because the last
time you were in, you left a bloody mess." [groan]

A thousand and one tampons walk into a bar. The bartender says "We can't serve
a thousand and one tampons"
The bloody tampons ask "Hey, why not?" The bartender says "Because we don't
like redheads." [groan]

A thousand and one tampons walked into a bar. The bartender says, "We can't
serve a thousand and one tampons." The bloody tampons ask, "Hey, why not?" The
bartender says "Because you're all stuck up bitches".

By the time the jokes are done, Rocky is ready to stand and proceed with the
show.
