| 101 seems to be not only Neo's and Merovingian's number but also Bill's. If
you've seen Kill Bill Volume 2 you'll notice that Bill lives on apartment
101. Nice :) Maybe Tarantino did it on purpose because of the Matrix...

He may not have done it simply because of the Matrix, but I'm sure someone
on the set made the connection. And I'm certain that Tarantino was aware of
it.
And yes, I noticed that while watching KB2, but I haven't thought about it
since. >> Stay informed about: Funny thing about room 101 |

Perhaps you might remember my thread on 101 sightings. In Men In Black there
is a reference to "code 101" when the MIB headquarters is being taken over
by aliens. Also, in the Terminator trilogy, the Terminatro is a model T-101.
Anybody know of anymore 101s, I think there is some underlying significance
to this number.

I think the Terminator is T-100 not T-101
Also there is a Depeche Mode video from 1988 that's called 101
I think there is some significance to this number because I've seen it
applied many times but since I'm not english I have no idea what those
particular expressions meant.

In a tournament I was involved in this weekend, the headquarters or staff
meeting room was in room 101. :-)

1-0-1 is the number of the basic course at all US colleges. Its were one
starts. It is often used as a methapher for the start, the introduction. On
a computer the runlevel 1 is the OS level which is controlling everything
on the higher levels. So room 101 would be the control-center. At least that
is how I understood it.
