Hello again,
THE GREAT DICTATOR will be shown on 9/8/07 and 9/9/07 at the Paramount
Theatre in downtown Austin as part of the 2007 Summer Classic Film
Series. It and GONE WITH THE WIND will be the last movies of the
series.
GREAT DICTATOR, the restored METROPOLIS, THE RULES OF THE GAME, and
THE EARRINGS OF MADAME DE... I'll try to make. I've already missed
THE THIN MAN and AFTER THE THIN MAN and can't make BRIEF ENCOUNTER,
aaaarrgghh!
This Chaplin Chick hasn't posted in a long time! Let's see, I got a
boyfriend, married the boyfriend, had a baby boy (now 3, and he says
"TCM" and smiles when he sees Robert Osborne), and I lost track of the
groups. For those of you who remember the glory days of the Chaplin
Chicks in the late 1990s, don't worry, I'll only mention how adorable
Charlie is every now and then.

Welcome back Hannah!
I tried to contact you on one of my rare trips to Austin, but no luck.
I figured you
were busy with something new and important in your life, and it seems
that was
the case I'm glad to learn that it was something so positive.

Welcome back, Mrs. Hannah.
Missing the THIN MAN films in 35mm must have been tough, or have you
seen them on the big screen before? >> Stay informed about: THE GREAT DICTATOR in Austin in September |

What a coincidence! Day before yesterday I happened across a picture
of us online in front of the studio gate on La Brea. So happy to hear
you're doing well and are training another young one appropriately to
boot. I've got an almost 3 year old great nephew who was born on his
great great grandfather Rollie's birthday. It's a great age, and I'll
bet he keeps you plenty busy and amused.
Welcome back. >> Stay informed about: THE GREAT DICTATOR in Austin in September |

Yes, it was painful, and no, I haven't seen a Thin Man movie on the
big screen. My office is a stone's throw from the Paramount, but I
don't live in Austin.

Hi David,
I often think about what a wonderful trip to Los Angeles that was in
October 1998. Everyone was so generous, the weather was great, and
Charlie was everywhere!
My husband wants to visit LA and see the old movie sites. He's
particularly looking forward to a cocktail and meal at Musso and
Frank's.
