Me too, last week. It's now my favourite film of all time. Some of the most
beautiful fx work I've ever seen. I wanted more, even at 1:40 it seemed
short.

G3 is the first kaiju film I've seen which left me with unanswered
questions, but I've decided I really don't want them answered. It's nice
just to accept that these things exist without demanding a detailed
scientific explanation for every last detail. The extras on the DVDs are
great too, esp. the long interview with Hinji Shijuchi where the interviewer
asks him about topics such as his personal development throughout the
trilogy. Makes a refreshing change from the usual self-congratulatory
Hollywood wankfests we see on mainstream releases.
On a different note, any word on a Universe Laser release of GxMG?
