I saw somthing here on the internet not long ago where ppl were talking
about how horror movies are not alowd in Germany if they r realy
violent , or somthing like that, but i kno for a fact that there are
realy grusome viiolent horror movies that are German, cos my GF has got
some and they are made in Germany, and are in German language and made
and sold by German conpanys, its no good asking me wot any of them are
called , cos i dont kno, i wont watch them cos i dont like the visious
sort of horror movies that she likes to watch, but seeing as shes got
so many of them and they are suposed to be not even alowd in Germany,
how come that they are selling them, and making them thereselves???
They must be alowd or they wouldent hav them to sell would they? And
they wouldent be making them if they were illeagal over there. [Ive
seen some of the cases that they come in, and its all written in German
too, so how can they be not alowd over there , when Germany is making
some of them that then goes out into the rest of hte world]?

yup, but it was "banned" (for lack of a better word). and you probably
could get it outside of Germany - so distributing it to countries where
it's allowed, is ok.

Most ALL of this movies are banned by now. Germany has the strictest
anti-violence law in Europe, more than 250 banned movies. The movies in
question usually are sold via Austria to the rest of the world.
Hell, even PHANTASM is banned because of violent pornography...

I wonder if any of X-Rated Kult DVD's stock is in circulation in it's
home country?
(I have their uncut versions of "The Night Evelyn Came Out of the
Grave" and "Torso" knocking about somewhere.) >> Stay informed about: German horror movies question. |

Buttgereit is considered art and perfectly allowed. Schnaas is purely
trash and *should* be banned by all means!

Only NEKROMANTIK 2 was banned, but they withdraw the ban. It´s labelled
"art"... Nobody understands these guys! So, to answer your question, none of
Ittenbach movies are banned.
From Schnaas, VIOLENT SHIT 2 is banned. I guess, they never found a copy of
the other Schnaas movies for they are quite rare to find.
From Olaf Ittenbach, BURNING MOON is banned.

Especially the scene with the sphere killing that guy, where a lot of blood
comes out of the sphere.
