Post subject: Ghost Rider Released on 6/12

It looks to be one of the only half-decent videos released this summer.
Personally, I'm combing the shelves for classic videos, film noir and WW 2
movies. I'm not impressed with current fare.

Ghost Rider was terrible in ways I didn't know were possible for a
mainstream, big budget release in the new millenium. It's so good it's
The Crow sequel quality. Spending the money that otherwise would have
gone towards renting this on crystal meth would be a more productive
and less harmful use of your hard earned, I assure you.

Sandro - how Cage's career and hairpieces continue to emerge unscathed
from flicks like this and the equally dire Wicker Man is a source of
unending wonderment to me.

Yeah, but I liked Elektra. It's interesting that GR comes out just six
days ahead of the FF movie. Marvel seems to be attacking the first two
weeks in June with it's popcorn releases. Spidey, of course, is a
certain blockbuster, so it gets Memorial Day (or pre-Memorial Day)
treatment.
