In THE STORK CLUB (1945) with Betty Hutton, shown on TCM last night,
there was a reference to Chaplin and THE GOLD RUSH.

Betty is telling Don DeFore about some event that happened back during
the Gold Rush.

DeFore: "I saw the movie of that."
Hutton: "Wasn't Charlie terrific?"
