The Good news: I just noticed that somebody posted the Kevin Brownlow/
David Gill series "Hollywood" to Google Video.

The Bad news: I've tried to watch three different episodes now, and
all three cut out or get mixed up (the video digitizes into squares)
about halfway through.

One of them suffered from mis-laid sound; at one point James Mason's
voice starts coming out of Louise Brooks's head. While that's really
funny, it's hardly what I expected!

TT

You could try downloading the MPEG4(forIpod) movie file and if that is
OK then convert to AVI. Sometimes this process results in a viewable
movie
