Goodfellas - Special Edition DVD?

Someone today told me they heard that there's going to be a Special
Edition DVD version of Goodfellas, though I don't see anything
anywhere about it. Does anyone else know more about this, when this
will be released?

Within the last year, Henry Hill, appearing on the Howard Stern Show,
remarked he was off to do a commentary for a Goodfellas DVD. Of course,
Henry is not the most reliable of sources.
